The philosophy at University Dental Group has always been to treat our patients with the highest quality of care and professionalism. Through our commitment to continued education and access to the most advanced technology in dentistry, we strive to make available as much dental treatment as possible in one facility for our patients from pediatric to geriatric. We believe in educating patients about the importance of maintaining their health which begins with the mouth and we want them to be dedicated to their dental care. At University Dental Group, we realize that a great team is essential to providing the best care and this makes our careers both enjoyable and rewarding. THE GIFT OF DENTISTRY
At University Dental Group, the doctors and staff believe dentistry is truly a gift. We feel blessed to be able to make our community smile each and every day. University Dental Group has been family owned for over 30 years. In 1987 University Dental Group was opened in the very same shopping center the practice currently resides. As our community grew around us, we remained in the same location and expanded the size of our office to better serve our patients with the best technology in dentistry. In 1992 a new state of the art facility was designed. The 3800 square foot building we reside in today was constructed with 11 operatories, 7 of which are fitted for treatment rooms used by the doctors and 4 of which are utilized by the hygiene team.
Over the years, continued integration of the latest available technology has been a vital part of the practice. Our updated Orlando office is equipped with the most advanced equipment in a serene, spa-like setting. We offer both 2D and 3D x-ray imaging. We use digital radiography sensors which are safer and more convenient for our patients. We also have the ability to take 3D x-rays to enhance our diagnostic abilities. With the Cone Beam 3D x-ray unit we are able to precisely plan dental implant surgeries, mill the necessary surgical guides on site, and even evaluate and treat patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
ALWAYS ON THE FOREFRONT OF TECHNOLOGY
CEREC
We use the CEREC system for same day porcelain dental restorations which include inlays, onlays, crowns, and veneers. This CAD-CAM technology allows us to place beautiful restorations in one visit so patients can avoid temporary restorations and have fewer disruptions to their busy schedules.
At University Dental Group we are always on the forefront of technology. Over the past few years we have embraced the latest and great technological advancements in dentistry with the purchase of several LASERs. Both the Sirolaser Advance Plus, a diode laser, and the Fotona Lightwalker, an NdYag and an ErbiumYAG, both have multiple wavelengths increasing their versatility. We are able to use these lasers for dental, periodontal and surgical procedures as well as to induce faster healing for oral lesions and surgical sites. Upon our patients’ visits, whether they are in pain or not we can use our state of the art technology to assess their dental health and need for treatment. With our embrace of the greatest technology available in dentistry and our caring staff we are sure to get our patients out of pain and on the path to a happy and healthy smile.
